Background:

RDI supports PT Biru Karbon Nusantara under the Indonesia Domestic Biogas Programme (IDBP) by conducting an annual Biogas User Survey. The survey is designed to collect data on biogas users’ perceptions, satisfaction, and usage patterns.

In 2025, the survey scope is expanded to include a Kitchen Performance Test (KPT) to assess biogas use for cooking and a Leakage Assessment (LA) to identify unintended greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions outside the project boundary.

The survey results produced by RDI serve as key supporting evidence for PT Biru Karbon Nusantara in claiming carbon credits under the IDBP.

Aims & Objectives:

1. To conduct a nationwide biogas-related survey covering users and non-users

2. To generate cleaned and structured tabular datasets from survey results to support carbon credit claims
