The Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) Annual Highlights 2024 mark 18 years of advancing evidence-based research, consultancy, and sustainable development across Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and globally.
Throughout 2024, RDI managed over 50 collaborative projects and delivered 55+ events, expanding its international presence across key regions including Nepal, the Netherlands, Italy, the United States, and Australia. Key milestones in 2024 included active participation in major global forums, such as the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) in Manila, the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Cairo, and the Crisis Management Conference in Jakarta.
Through its specialized Knowledge Hubs, RDI made significant contributions in Adaptive Social Protection (ASP), Climate and Disaster Displacement (CDD), Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance (DRFI), Nature-based Solutions (NbS), Global Health, and Multi-Hazard Preparedness in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP).Driven by seven research clusters and six specialized centers, RDI continues to strengthen cross-sectoral partnerships with governments, international organizations, NGOs, and academic institutions to foster resilient and sustainable communities.
