Anggita Utomo is a Research Officer at the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), contributing to the Financing Adaptation, Innovation, and Resilience (FAIR) and Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance (DRFI) programmes. His work focuses on climate and resilience financing, institutional readiness, and project development at the subnational level.

He holds a Master of Economics from the Australian National University (ANU), with specialization in econometrics and development economics. His academic training centers on quantitative methods, public finance, and policy evaluation.

Prior to joining RDI, he served as a Research Associate at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He was involved in a randomized controlled trial in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank examining COVID-19 vaccination acceptance among low-income households, and in a Tobacconomics-supported study analyzing the effects of cigarette expenditure on children’s growth outcomes using nationally representative data.

His research interests lie at the intersection of sustainable development economics, public finance, and climate resilience.
