The frequency and intensity of climate-related disasters are increasing, exacerbating existing vulnerabilities and undermining development gains. The lack of mainstreaming integration between climate, environmental, energy, and issues into social sector policies can result in incoherence and inefficiency in the response, ultimately diminishing the overall effectiveness of resilience-building efforts (ADB, 2021; Mysiak, Dr Jaroslav, 2021). Therefore, coordinated and comprehensive policy frameworks must be established to safeguard development objectives and protect at-risk populations.
