Background:
The final evaluation of Aceh Pidie Jaya Earthquake Response will assess the relevance, effectiveness, coordination, coherence, sustainability, and lessons learned from the project. YSTC conducted several activities focused on child education and protection during the response, including PFA for children and capacity building for communities. The purpose of these activities is for every child to receive protection and a safe environment during a crisis and emergency response. Some beneficiaries expressed that the emergency response helped them to understand the importance of child protection.
Aims and Objectives:
To measure Aceh Pidie Jaya Earthquake Response outputs and outcomes to the affected communities, children, and local stakeholders including local government policymakers on how to prepare, respond, and recover from the humanitarian crisis due to earthquake.
Scope:
The evaluation will assess the implementation of the Pidie earthquake emergency response. The evaluation will consider the project’s contributions to emergency response in Pidie and the targeted beneficiaries, including the contribution of preparedness to response.
Methodology:
Qualitative approach in assessing the project’s results, and changes before and after the program.
