In September 2021, RDI actively supported the dissemination of the WIPO GREEN Catalogue, an initiative focused on providing updated information about innovative technologies for addressing environmental challenges in Indonesia’s palm oil sector. The catalogue aims to increase awareness of feasible technology solutions to reduce the environmental impacts of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) and foster collaboration between technology seekers, providers, and stakeholders in promoting green technology adoption within the industry. The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including palm oil mills, technology providers, government representatives, financial institutions, and sustainability organisations, featuring speakers from various organisations, including the Ministry of Agriculture, RSPO, GGGI, ABgI, and RDI, among others, demonstrating a commitment to addressing environmental challenges in the palm oil sector and promoting sustainability.
