The Centre of Knowledge, Evaluation, Monitoring, and Academic (KEMA) at the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) is dedicated to advancing research, evaluation, knowledge management, and academic empowerment in areas such as disaster and climate resilience, environmental management, renewable energy, and other relevant sustainable development issues.
KEMA’s Monitoring and Evaluation focus areas provide project monitoring and evaluation assessment to achieve measurable project impacts through robust monitoring and evaluation tools and evidence-based feedback. Through its Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) focus, KEMA provides comprehensive project monitoring and evaluation services to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes. By employing evidence-based methodologies, KEMA helps assess project performance, measure results, and provide actionable insights that guide a more impactful project.
KEMA also plays a pivotal role in advancing Knowledge Management and Academic Development at RDI. It works to enhance the organisation’s capacity to effectively organise, curate, and disseminate research findings, thereby fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within resilience initiatives. Additionally, KEMA ensures the production of high-quality, policy-relevant research that meets rigorous academic standards, contributing to the global body of knowledge in sustainable development.
